Challenge #25 – Ceiling

coffered ceiling

When I was little I used to walk on the ceiling. Not the way you might think though.

I would get a hand-held mirror and hold it in front of me, parallel to the ceiling. Then I would look into it as I tried to navigate my home. When you start walking It’s all backwards and disorienting, but it’s cool!
Try it and see what I mean! Better yet, have your kids try it, it’s hours of enjoyment. At least it was for me. Maybe I shouldn’t tell you that; it makes me sound lame.

Unless I am playing my awesome ceiling walking game I don’t look at my ceilings much. But the other day when I was stretching for a few more things to clean during these last 5 days of the cleaning challenge, I thought of them! And I found that there were a few places that needed my assistance. So this is what I did:

1. Snatched an electrostatic duster with a long handle and deleted the cob webs from the corners.

2. Eliminated all of the glow-in-the-dark star stickers left over from the previous owners kids. Those have been bothering me for 9 months.

I know you have some cob webs affixed to the corners of your rooms or around your window treatments. You just have to.

Let the cleaning commence!

As we wrap this 30 day challenge up this week, I would love to hear from you. Leave me a comment telling me what you have accomplished and I will do a celebration post to all of us!
