Hi, I’m Chel and I am a mom to 5 kids ages 5 to 11. I know what you’re thinking; “you’re busy”. And yes we are, but that’s not what I want to write about – everyone is busy.

What I want to talk about is what it takes to run a household no matter how many kids you have. And, how to do that without running yourself into the ground. I’m going to compile some best practices, tips and tricks and share them with you. But I also hope moms will use this as a place to post their ideas and problems so we can all benefit from one another.

I struggle with perfection. I really, really want everything to be perfect. And sometimes I will go to great lengths to try to make that happen. But I NEVER arrive. And I do realize I never will. So I’m going to share my struggles, wins and losses with you as I learn to love this beautifully imperfect life.

  1. You are quite dedicated and amazing. I don’t know if I could birth let alone raise 5 beautiful children. I am totally suggesting your sponges for a beginning of school activity. It could be a hit (of water in the face lol need to make a rule about that)! I nominated you for the Sunshine and Versatile blogger awards. if you are interested here is the nominating post: http://afternoonofsundries.wordpress.com/2014/08/02/oh-wow-thank-you-so-much/
